Forensic Science Workshop

A young student is missing.  Did he run away from home to join the circus? Was he kidnapped? What else might have happened to him? This was the scenario presented to the students in our workshop today. What a fun way it was to apply science enquiry skills to the task of solving the mystery. The students examined animal scats, fingerprints, digital microscope images and other uncovered evidence in order to piece together clues in the puzzle.
