Our upcoming excursion to Bathurst

We are looking forward to our 3 day trip to Bathurst next week.  In Year 5, the focus of our learning will be on the development of the colony of New South Wales which resulted from the discovery of gold and the establishment of the farming industry.
The students are excited about the itinerary and the opportunities it provides to investigate our colonial history through a range of activities and guided tours. They have been reminded of the need to pack their own bags and ensure that they have enough warm clothing to cope with temperatures which may fall into the negative zone. The students will also need to pack in their carry-on luggage morning tea and lunch for Day 1.
We will meet at Bayview Park next Wednesday 31 July at 0645 prompt so that we can be on the road by 0700.
Our estimated arrival time back at Bayview Park on Friday 2 August is 1830.
